Education for Equality
We established and actively managed various social media channels as part of our concerted efforts to amplify awareness surrounding the crucial issue of equality between men and women, particularly emphasizing its significance for girls. Additionally, we facilitated connections between our clients and local service providers who offer ongoing online group psychosocial therapy sessions, aimed at aiding women and girls' survivors in their journey towards recovery.
Combat Violence against Women and girls
Our organization collaborates closely with domestic and physical violence survivors who have experienced various forms of violence, including sexual assault, online harassment, and domestic abuse.
Support Civil Society Organizations
We empower local organizations led by women and other marginalized groups in Iraq and the surrounding region by bolstering their technological capabilities, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing institutional competence. WANi actively supports endeavors aimed at advancing equality for women and girls in Iraq. Furthermore, we amplify voices from the region by sharing authentic stories that delve into the historical, economic, socio-cultural, and political factors shaping inequality. By bringing these narratives to a global platform, we strive to ensure they are heard, acknowledged, and supported worldwide.
