Evin Hadi is a senior M&E advisor at WANi, bringing over a decade of rich experience collaborating with multilateral institutions and local partners across Iraq. In her role, she is dedicated to ensuring the effective delivery of programs, initiatives, and projects, ensuring they meet their intended objectives. Evin excels in developing and enhancing monitoring, inspection, and evaluation protocols, while also providing mentorship to junior team members, guiding them in monitoring project activities and assessing progress towards desired outcomes. Moreover, Evin conducts thorough capacity assessments of local women-led organizations’ existing M&E structures, facilitating the development of tailored indicators and monitoring strategies for their projects. Evin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dohuk University in Iraq.
Maha Yassin is a senior advisor at WANi, specializing in environmental policy, climate security, and activism in Iraq. Previously, she worked as a Research Fellow and Outreach Officer at Clingendael – the Netherlands Institute for International Relations, managing the Basra Forum for Climate, Environment, and Security. Maha holds an MA in Communication Studies and a B.Sc in Geology. With extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, she specializes in civil society engagement and addressing environmental threats, particularly in the southern region of Iraq.
Rasha Altameemi has assumed the role of senior advisor at WANi, focusing on the rights of women and minorities. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of North Texas, her research specializes in international relations, U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, and women's rights. Holding a Master's Degree in history from Texas Women's University, she previously contributed to the University of Mustansryah in Baghdad, examining resources in the Woman's Collection/Archive within the history department. At WANi, her role involves aiding women's organizations in Iraq, employing gender analysis informed by diverse disciplines and intersectionality to tackle the significant challenges faced by Iraqi women.
Farrah Zalzalah serves as a senior program managment advisor at WANi, she has 16 years of comprehensive project management experience spanning across diverse sectors. Beginning her career as a civil engineer in the private sector, she transitioned seamlessly into the realm of humanitarian response, lending her expertise to esteemed international organizations such as Save the Children International and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
Farrah's professional journey also encompasses impactful roles in institutional development, women's empowerment, gender equality, and social inclusion. She has collaborated closely with intergovernmental agencies including UN-IOM, Gender Resource, Inc., and DAI, where she served as an Equity and Inclusion Manager.
Tablo Sulaimani serves as a senior advisor at WANi, where she specializes in content design and leads a creative team dedicated to developing the visual elements of awareness strategies and online campaigns. Her role involves creating visual assets for websites, social media platforms, and other web services for women-led organizations. Originally from Iraq, Tablo now resides in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Architecture Design from Sulaimaniyah University in Iraq.
